We are excited to share that on January 13th, Seatrade successfully went live with Flex Maritime Logistics on Dynamics 365, replacing their legacy AX2012 platform. This marks a significant step forward in ensuring compliance with the latest security standards and leveraging the full capabilities of a modern cloud-based system.
A global transition for Seatrade
Seatrade has been using Flex Maritime Logistics since 2009, previously operating on the AX2012 platform. The transition to D365 brings enhanced security, scalability, and efficiency.
Flex Maritime Logistics plays a crucial role in Seatrade’s operational processes, including:
- Documentation & Invoicing
- Customs Compliance (EU, UK, and US)
- Equipment Control & Lease Management
- Container Traceability via EDI
The system is used globally by Seatrade’s shipping lines and local agents, all of whom were actively involved throughout the project. Thanks to meticulous validation of all processes and data migration before go-live, the transition went smoothly—without major issues.
A team effort
This success was made possible through the dedication and collaboration of Seatrade’s project team, as well as the adaptability of all users during this transition. We’re proud of the seamless go-live and grateful for the teamwork that made it happen.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue supporting Seatrade in making the most of Flex Maritime 365, helping them drive their business forward with a robust and future-proof solution.
